About Us

We are a Minnesota-based grassroots activist organization whose core mission is to organize, educate, and activate communities in order to fight climate change, imperialism and socio-ecological injustice.

We do this by demanding pollution control and ecological accountability for industry and government agencies while building sustainable local infrastructure. This can look like advocating for environmental protection legislation and practices, community access and development of natural resources including municipal utilities and community gardens, education on ecosystems and climate issues in Minnesota, freedom of movement and access for migratory animals across borders, and more. 

The Climate Justice Committee is a member of the Free Palestine Coalition, People's Action Coalition Against Trump, and Taking Back Pride Coalition. History is made of mass-movements, making the streets our arena of struggle. We hope to see you there!
