JACOB FREY: OUR CITY IS NOT FOR SALE! Rally + March 📣

CJC, MIRAC, and a large coalition of local organizations are hitting the streets to tell Jacob Frey that Minneapolis belongs to the people. No to millionaire-backed election meddling, REAL sanctuary for immigrants and ICE out of Minneapolis, and stop sabotaging the Roof Depot deal!

The CJC had already planned to rally on the 28th demanding a fair deal for East Phillips, but after Frey’s blatantly corrupt and anti-democratic forcing of the DFL to retract their endorsement of progressive candidate Omar Fateh, we knew this protest had to go even bigger.

Frey’s track record of opposing popular & working class demands is extensive, from lying about banning no-knock warrants, to his war on the unhoused population, to his lies about the June 3rd federal raids, to undermining pro-Palestine resolutions at the City Council and direct attacks on progressive council members. Anyone who has tried to affect positive change in Minneapolis over the last several years knows that the Frey administration is sure to stand in their way, and we’ve had enough!
