Join us at the Federal Courthouse Plaza this Friday at 5 pm to keep up the pressure to preserve the BWCA mining ban and learn about our campaign to KEEP ICE OUT OF THE BWCA. Reactionary Pete Stauber and his allies in the Trump administration want to revoke a 20 year mining ban in northern Minnesota’s boundary waters canoe area. They claim it won’t harm the boundary waters. They claim it will bring jobs and prosperity. But we know there’s no way safe way to do copper mining and the prosperity will be exported back to the Twin Metals mine owners in Chile. It’s clear Pete Stauber is content to foreclose on Minnesota’s future for short term profit.
