Join CJC at Boundary Waters Lobby Day

Join CJC for a rally hosted by @friendsbwcaw at the MN Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday 2/25 at 1:30 pm. @friendsbwcaw is hosting a lobby day at the MN Capitol on Wednesday 2/25 to underscore the importance of protecting the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Come rally and meet with your representatives to defend the BWCA

Right now there are two bills in congress designed to destroy the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. HJ 140 will overturn a 20 year mining ban if it passes into law. The Border Lands Protection Act (S.2967) will allow the Dept. of Homeland Security to build roads, detention centers and conduct patrols in the BWCA and any other wilderness area within 100 miles of the US Border. These bills must be defeated to protect one of our most precious wilderness areas.
